Officially on vacation mode!
During this time I will be
resurrecting my blog 'Away with Words'. A lot of interesting stuff I
published here dates back to 2007 and stretches all the way to 2009.
These were incredibly creative and productive years of my life as I
wrote a lot.
As I 'stumbled' upon my blog this evening after my
last day at work, I realised that I obviously had a lot on my mind back
then that just needed to find its way onto a blank canvas.
At that
particular point in time, I had recently arrived in Australia as a
Masters student. I had a lot of free time on my hands which I wisely
channeled into this blog in the form of verses and prose.
I wrote
about every single conceivable topic, from a review on the 40th
Anniversary of The Beatles' Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band Album
to a Poem on the Global Financial Crisis entitled 'Green Benjamins' (http://fpimentel.blogspot.com.au/2008/…/green-benjamins.html).
And there were poems. Myriads of them.
Ground Control to Major Tom: I'm returning to the 'zone' again.
Let the writing begin.
