A POEM by: Fernando de Mello Pimentel
I can clearly remember
riding the 393
from Hyde Park
to Kingsford’s round-a-bout.
The pavement, black
stretching from the CBD
to La Perouse.
I wanna go back.
333 Anzac Parade
Memories never seem to fade
cutting through
like a sharp, shiny blade.
From a balcony on unit 6B
I’ve seen many moons
and autumn leaves falling
from your maple trees.
Friends have come and gone
in this time we’ve been together.
For this I thank you
cause you’ve made my life better.
333 Anzac Parade
Memories never seem to fade
cutting through
like a sharp, shiny blade.
