TROUBLED WATERS PART II – The Ship

A POEM by: Fernando de Mello Pimentel

One day, a Giant Ship
started making high waves
across the marine immensity
as it cruised its way
through The Ocean´s vastness.
The Ship was big and almighty.
It had stature and a unique
form of navigating itself.
In the beginning The Ocean
and The Ship were capable
of living together in harmony.
But soon the peace between them
was interrupted by the
Troubled Waters
as tensions within The Ocean´s
elements increasinly grew into turmoil.
The Ship had a keen sense of musicality.
It blew soaring notes through the air
which made all the fish, whales and
other sea creatures stand in awe.
